Authorities find drugs smuggled in a strange way


British authorities were able to find a large amount of cocaine, smugglers had hidden it in blocks of frozen meat.

The seized drugs amount to £ 20 million, equivalent to $ 25 million, Sky News reported.

Cocaine was found after police stopped the truck carrying frozen meat for inspection in Essex, near London.

According to the British authorities, about 200 kilograms of drugs were packed into frozen meat and placed in the back of the truck registered in the Netherlands.

The authorities charged the truck driver, who is a Dutch citizen, for the crime of smuggling drugs of the first category.

The National Crime Agency in Britain said the investigation into the incident was continuing, saying the seizure of the truck was a blow to the criminal organization behind it.
