Good news to Indians arriving on arrival visas

Ministry of Interior announced good news for Indians arriving in Qatar on arrival visas.

Now a credit card is no longer mandatory to enter Qatar on arrival visas. The tourist must have either credit card or a debit card in his or her name while arriving in Qatar.

Still, there is no extension of stay beyond 30 days, passport with over the six-month validity and a requirement for a confirmed hotel reservation and return ticket.

Prior to November 11, Indians, who are among the six major visitors to Qatar, could extend their on arrival visa to stay for a maximum period of 60 days.
