The Hyatt Plaza branch of KFC and Petra in Al Muntazah has been closed temporarily because of violating the Qatari food laws.
Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) said that the inspectors found that these restaurants were dirty, had rotten food or were storing fusty expiration products.
Plus a mini-market in Ruwais was partially closed because of offering food that is unfit for consumption.
The MME posted a photograph on its website which showed some photos of rotten food that are offered by some markets and restaurants.
The KFC branch in Hyatt Plaza mall in Al Waab was closed on October 4 for 7 days because for offering expired food.
Also Petra restaurant on Rawdat Al Khail St. in Al Muntazah will be closed for 10 days, because of selling expired food and preparing food in bad conditions.
Also two restaurants were order to shut on Oct. 4. Rokn Al Shamrestaurant in al Wakrah for seven days and that Indian restaurant Lakbima in Najma was closed for 30 days for unhygienic conditions.
