MOI to motorists: Don’t Do This
MOI asked motorists not to follow ambulances as it’s a blatant violation of traffic rules and regulations.
The General Directorate of Traffic recently launched a civil patrol vehicle equipped with a sophisticated radar to catch traffic violations on roads particularly where there are no or lesser number of cameras installed.
Such patrols can catch these kinds of violations and get photo of violations and even can record videos. This vehicle can also catch violations of speed limit during patrolling. Also, the radar-mounted car can be used for other security tasks.
This violation of following ambulances is considered immoral and this attitude may cause traffic accidents. People can share such violations to the General Directorate of Traffic by sending photos to Department through Metrash2.
