No jobs for expats in this Gulf country soon
Kuwait’s officials are planning to implement a ban worker to expats with low (GPA) scores.
Only those with a good GPA will be able to work in the country.
The step was taken to help rebalance the country’s 4.5 million population, and to ensure only highly skilled people can get a job.
Kuwait will soon start checking and auditing GPAs when expats renew their residency visas.
Also there is a plan to replace the roughly 44,500 foreign workers in the public sector with citizens.
