Ooredoo has announced the launch of the Tourist SIM package, a new prepaid service that caters to visitors’ communications needs while in Qatar. Through the Tourist segment, visitors to Qatar can stay in touch with family and friends in their home countries, and stay connected within Qatar via Supernet through Integrated package including calls, messages, local data and international calls.
Visitors can get the tourist SIM when they arrive in Qatar for QR 35 for about $ 9.67.The card includes 150 Flexi Points which can be used for calls, messages, international calls and local data up to 1 GB, valid 7 days from the day of activation, and visitors can get a mobile broadband package For SAR 300 at about $ 82.87 which gives them 40 GB of local data valid for 30 days and a free Wi-Fi.
