Qatar: 10,000 JOBS to be people holding this nationality
Qatar and Jordan will form a joint committee to follow up on the implementation of the directives of HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to provide 10,000 job opportunities for Jordanian youth in Qatar.
This was announced by the Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, HE Dr Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi, during a joint Press conference with Jordan’s Minister of Labour Sameer Saeed Murad, reported Gulf Times.
The joint committee will provide a database to facilitate the process for private and public entities in Qatar to choose a candidate who meets their needs and wishes to work in Qatar.
Al Nuaimi said job opportunities are available in different sectors such as health, education, finance, insurance, services, construction, agriculture and animal resources.
The committee’s mission will be to coordinate, follow up and ease the obstacles that jobseekers in Jordan may face.
A total of 1,000 jobs for Jordanian youth will be provided until September through coordination and cooperation of the committee. It will then intensify efforts in the following phase to provide other jobs, according to Qatar Tribune.
Al Nuaimi ruled out the involvement of third parties in the employment process.
The Jordanian minister said the two ministries of labour would not intervene in the recruitment of employees, with the matter being decided by employers.
