Qatar Airlines: Launches its direct flights to this CITY
Qatar Airways’ first flight to Gothenburg arrived at Gothenburg International Airport, becoming the airline’s second destination in Sweden. The inaugural flight was led by Simon Newton Smith, Qatar Airways’ Senior Vice President Commercial Strategy.

At the inaugural ceremony, the Qatar Airways’ Key to the City of Gothenburg was presented to recognize the significant role that direct flights to Gothenburg will make for more travel options to Africa and Asia. The award was presented to Qatar Airways by Mr. Henrik Inarsson, Director of the Business and Investment Foundation in Gothenburg.
