Qatar Airways to launch direct flight services this destination
The national carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways will be launching direct flight services to Pattaya in a bid to meet increasing customer demand.
The new service that would operate four times a week, will start on January 28, 2018, and is thereby an addition to the airline’s existing flights to Bangkok, Krabi, Phuket and soon to be launched, Chiang Mai, as reported by Gulf Times.
It is interesting to note here that Pattaya and nearby Rayong are major destinations for sun-seekers looking to soak up the local culture on extravagant beaches.
Commenting on the upcoming service, the CEO of Qatar Airways, Akbar al-Baker said that Thailand is continuing to grow in popularity with the airlines’ passengers, who love travelling to the beautiful country and enjoy its incredible culture, cuisine and natural scenery.
He added that “Qatar Airways is committed to responding to customer demand by flying passengers where they want to go and providing them with unrivalled five-star service to destinations around the world.
As such, Qatar Airways will operate a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class on flights between Doha and U-Tapao Rayong Pattaya International Airport, on its winter schedule.
