Qatar officials approve a draft law on entry and exit of expatriates

The Advisory Council held its regular weekly session under the chairmanship, where in it discussed a draft law amending some provisions of law No. 21 of 2015 regulating the entry and exit of expatriates and their residence, and decided to approve it and submit its recommendations thereon to the esteemed government.

Held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud the Advisory Council also discussed the report of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a request for discussion on the National Food Security Programme, as reported by The Peninsula.

Further, the Council also held talks on the report of the Cultural Affairs and Information Committee on a draft law amending some provisions of law No. 1 for 2016 regulating sports clubs.
