Qatar residents should keep eyes on sky 

The Qatar Calendar House (QCH) has revealed that the residents of Qatar and all Arabic countries will observe four planets of the solar system – Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Venus, on March 2018.

In the first case, Jupiter will be seen approaching the Moon on March 7, at 10:00 AM, where the angular distance between Jupiter and Moon will be four degrees.

Residents of Qatar will see Jupiter and Moon together with naked eye over south eastern horizon of Doha sky from the rise time of Jupiter on Tuesday night until morning of Wednesday, where the time rise of Jupiter on Tuesday will be at 10:33 AM, as stated by noted Astronomer expert at QCH Dr. Beshir Marzouk.

On the other hand, Mars will come close to Moon March 10, where it will be at three degrees southern Moon’s center.

Residents of Qatar will be seeing Mars and Moon together with naked eye over eastern horizon of Doha sky from the rise time of Mars until before Sunrise time, where the time rise of Mars on will be at 00:50 AM, while Sunrise time will be at 5:49 AM Doha local time.

Further, Saturn will be coming close to Moon on March 11 where the planet will be at two degrees southern Moon’s center.

Dr Marzouk pointed out that Qatar residents will be able to see Saturn and Moon together with the naked eye over eastern horizon of Doha dawn sky from time rise of Saturn at 1:37 AM until before sunrise time.

Finally, Venus will be at one degree northern new Crescent’s center on March 18, wherein Qatar resident will have a chance to observing Venus and Moon together after sunset time for 52 minutes over western horizon with astronomical telescopes. Residents are advised to be at places without light and environment pollutions.
