Qatar: Serious changes in weather
The mercury level is set to rise above average levels, exceeding mid-30Cs in some areas, on Friday and Saturday, according to Qatar’s Met Department.
This is due to the strengthening of southeasterly-southwesterly winds that are expected to affect the country, reported Gulf Times.
However, the temperatures are expected to return to normal range on March 18, with the wind direction shifting to northerly. Fresh to strong northwesterly winds are expected to affect the country from Saturday night until the beginning of March 19.
Friday’s forecast, meanwhile, says there is a weak chance of light rain in some inshore areas as well as offshore towards the north by tonight.
