Review of the fantastic Warwick Hotel Spa! (Photos Included)

We live in a world overrun by stress. The unforgiving pace and complexity of modern life have greatly challenged our ability to live healthily and to take some time for ourselves to relax. It is important to detach from the tribulations of our daily lives once in a while and enjoy some “us” time. QL visits the spa at Warwick hotel for some pampering time.

For Her

Holiday Spa Hamper – 90 minutes (QR 380)

One of the best ways to relieve stress is to pay a visit to a good spa. Last week I visited the spa at the Warwick hotel to try out their Holiday Spa Hamper, which consists of a 30-minute body scrub and massage accompanied by a 30-minute facial.

Warwick’s spa offers you a calm, peaceful and serene environment with personalized service. The spa is small but cozy and neatly decorated. The same can be said about the treatment rooms. After taking a tour of the spa, it is time to get pampered.

I am escorted by my therapist to the massage room. Upon entering the space, one can sense an irresistible aroma that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. The dime lights add to the soothing atmosphere.

My session begins with a soft and indulgent body scrub. The therapist rubs warm oil lavender extract and grape seed all over my body. This procedure is followed by a rich exfoliation with coconut oil, honey, and cinnamon. After taking a short shower I then proceed to enjoy a full body massage for 30 minutes. This experience can leave anyone feeling renewed and in total harmony with your body.

My spa visit finishes with a facial. The benefits of facials go far beyond aesthetics. It rejuvenates and refreshes the skin, helps combat stress and brings a sense of tranquility.

My overall experience at Warwick’s spa was exceptional. I can’t say enough about this spa. I walked out of there feeling so relaxed and empowered.

Detox Wrap with Lymphatic Drainage Massage – 90 minutes (QR 480)

The spa at Warwick hotel in Al Saad isn’t one of the most popular in the country, but it should be. The spa is not only picturesque and impeccably clean but it also offers amazing treatments for very reasonable prices. Not many places in Doha can offer a 90-minute pampering experience for QR 480.

During my visit to the spa, I tried the Detox Wrap with Lymphatic Drainage Massage. The treatment starts with a 30-minute body wrap. The therapist applies a mix of warm coconut oil, yogurt, and honey before wrapping my body. He then covers me with a warm blanket made of some sort of plastic fabric.

I must admit being wrapped that way is a bit uncomfortable, but one can feel the toxins leaving your body. After a short shower to clean all the residuals on my body my skin feels soft and clean. It is a treatment I recommend doing at least once a month to free your body of all toxins and pollutants.

My therapist then proceeds with the lymphatic drainage massage. It lasts for about an hour. The therapist focuses on every single body part stretching your legs and arms and working on the knots on your back and shoulders.

The high-performance body wrap combined with the massage is designed to help eliminate toxins, drains excess water accumulation and stimulate metabolism. This spa is a great place to relax and let yourself go. I was incredibly pleased with my experience.
