The Embassy of India in Qatar warns expatriates
The Embassy of India in Qatar asked Indian expatriates not to respond to phone calls claiming to be from the embassy. People are urged to report such spams to the Embassy.
The spammers would be asking for the passport number, bank account number or other details.
An embassy Tweet said: “Beware of spoof call masquerading as Embassy Officials. Do not disclose any personal details such as your Passport number, bank account number, etc. Kindly report to us at 44255777 or email us at [email protected] if you receive such a call.”
