Woman caught while trying to smuggle drugs
An Argentine woman claimed to be pregnant and tried to smuggle 4 kg of drugs into her “belly”.
Customs agents in Argentina uncovered the secret trick and arrested the perpetrators as a result of a mistake by the smuggling partner who tried to smuggle two small plastic bags of Marijuana and was stopped by the police.
Argentina’s security minister, Patricia Pollerich, published a photograph of the smuggler, saying she highly valued her fertile imagination. According to the minister, the woman tried to smuggle a few kilograms of drugs hidden in her artificial belly.
The Argentine newspaper “Lad Bible” said that the woman made a ball of starch paste and put 15 bags of “marijuana” weighing 4.1 kg.
The smugglers were caught together near the Argentine border with Chile. They apparently intended to smuggle drugs from Mendoza to Santa Cruz and then to Bolivia, through the Patagonia region.
